Yes, some of the courses have a perquisites. And many of the courses will require you to have a Chart, chart plotter and divider which can be bought online or at your local marina chandlery/store. The items required for the courses as well as the perquisites for the course will be listed on the course overview page of the course you are interested in.
Yes, the online courses are designed to help you study for an exam sitting from anywhere. However the examinations will require you to be at a certain location for SAS and RYA endorsed exams.
We give our students between 6months-1 year to complete the courses online, depending on the course difficulty. However, once you apply for the examination, you will have 12 months to complete the examination theory and practical components.
Yes. Students can complete an online course with Mills Boat Academy and complete the practical component with another Academy. Make sure that you only purchase the theory component of the course in that instant.
