The goal of this course is to set a solid foundation of safety, seamanship, and sailing knowledge so that you can sail safely and confidently on sailboats under 9 metres or crew on sailboats over 9 metres in length. 

The complete Competent Crew Course is comprised of two components:

• The online theory course comprises of 12 chapters covering the essential most sailing topics. The theory course should take +-2 weeks to complete.
• The practical course includes 3 days of hands-on sailing experience, where we put the theory we’ve learned into practice and experience handling a sailboat under power and under sail.
